The ATEX VX-829 is a 'compact radio' boasting full band capability, programmable channel spacing and rated to ATEX II 2G Ex ib IIC T4. It is approved for Category 2 (Zone 1), Equipment Group II, Gas Group C Temperature Class T4.
The radio is available in both 1W full band VHF and 1W full band UHF models which are programmable for 12.5, 20 and 25KHz Ch spacing. It is submersible 1 meter in water for 30 minutes.
