RadioTrade provides an Out of Warranty Repair service for Motorola and Vertex Standard radios. Generally this is for radios which have been supplied by RadioTrade and for which the warranty has expired. By request and on agreement, RadioTrade will also repair Motorola and Vertex Standard radios that were not originally supplied by RadioTrade.
The repair service is offered by means of an ‘estimate for repair’ or on a ‘fixed-price repair’ basis, depending on the radio models involved.
Our fixed-price repair charges relate to Motorola Professional (GP) and Commercial Series (CP) radios and only for those that are not intrinsically safe. Repairs carried out on a fixed price basis have two levels of pricing which relate to whether the repair is deemed to be for equipment that has been physically damaged or not.
If the Dealer should decide the ‘estimate for repair’ service is preferable then we can offer this on the ‘GP’ and ‘CP’ products, though turnaround times will be extended due to the estimate and approval process.
While it is our intention to extend the fixed-price service to other models, the ‘estimate for repair’ service will cater for other equipment. The estimate for repair will be sent to the Dealer for approval and once approved, the repair will take place.
