Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Privacy option provides 256-bit encryption for voice and data messages to prevent eavesdropping. Requires software licence.
Radio Management (RM) R1.2 improvements including off-line programming and the ability to manage all Charged for Software (CfS) features using RM, which in turn provides improvements such as radio licences no-longer being tied to a specific PC.
Digital Voting allows two-way communications between lower-powered portable/mobile radios and higher-powered repeaters using multiple satellite receivers. Requires software licence. More information.
Control Signalling Block (CSBK) Data is an optimised data transfer method which improves data communication performance reliability, thereby increasing the maximum number of GPS location updates transmitted per minute.
