New Employee Introduction - Jorge Reis

Jorge joins us with extensive experience within the industry having been the Motorola Solutions Training Manager for the EMEA region.

Jorge started his career as a radio field engineer in Portugal before he emigrated to South Africa to join a Motorola Distributor. Subsequently he was given the opportunity to join Motorola South Africa as a cellular infrastructure engineer working mainly on GSM. He moved within Motorola to become Field Project Manager which led to an opportunity to join the UK training team for Motorola.

Jorge’s technical background assisted him greatly in delivering training on complex systems and he was promoted to the position of EMEA Training Manager.

At XEVA, his initial focus will be taking our NEW and recently launched products and providing virtual and classroom based training to our Partners. Current projects include a Basic Introduction to Radio, VB400 Bodycams and the New Eventide Recorder.

Jorge has a well stocked Marine Fish Tank that he enjoys in his spare time as well as flying throughout the world with his very sophisticated flight simulator equipment. Jorge also loves football and supports Benfica of Lisbon.
