The MTP8550Ex ATEX-certified intrinsically safe portable delivers unrivalled voice and data communications with integrated GPS plus best-in-class audio.
The radio features a full colour display and a useful secondary top display showing key information to the user. There is also a large emergency button. The MTP8550Ex has a full keypad. It also features integrated Bluetooth®. The radio can be easily identified by the nameplate, rather than using stick-on labels or external markers that can compromise the ATEX Certification.
Stock TETRA radios are supplied with the following default options for firmware and encryption:
- MR2022.4 FIRMWARE (NOT DOWNGRADABLE)
- MTP8550EX UHF CLR ROM
Other firmware and encryption options will require a quotation. These will be supplied to order and will subject to the Motorola lead times.
